Nigel Morgan
Event Host, NM Film

Nigel Morgan is the founder of NM Film and former host of the Cameo Launch Short Film Podcast. His tenure as host saw him interview filmmakers from Australia, the US, China and across the UK. Since the early 2000s, Nigel has worked in freelance video production and short film.

 

After running the short film platform Cameo Launch, culminating in his taking the role of Festival Director for the Surrey Short Film Festival in 2023, Nigel returned to filmmaking with the short documentary PILGRIM OF THE TIDES in 2024 and crime comedy BLIND SPOTS in 2025.

Emma Farrugia
Theatrical Sales Manager, UK & I, MUBI 

Emma Farrugia is a Theatrical Sales Manager at MUBI, she has worked for MUBI since August 2021 on theatrical releases including; THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD, DECISION TO LEAVE, AFTERSUN, PERFECT DAYS, THE SUBSTANCE, QUEER and most recently DIE MY LOVE and SENTIMENTAL VALUE.

 

Emma lives in Brighton and previously worked as the Volunteer Coordinator at Depot cinema in Lewes, alongside a role at Cineworld Brighton and FrightFest film festival prior to starting at MUBI.

Chris Overton

Chris Overton is an Academy Award® winning director and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He began his career as an actor, appearing in the BAFTA winning film Pride, before making his directorial debut with THE SILENT CHILD, which won the Oscar® for Best Live Action Short.

 

His directing work has screened at major festivals including Tribeca, Clermont-Ferrand, and HollyShorts - where he was honoured for his contribution to short film. He is about to complete his feature documentary STICKS & SHELTER and is currently in pre-production on his debut narrative feature DUST, based on a true story.

Jack Tarling
Lead Producer, Shudder Films

Jack Tarling produced the 6 BAFTA nominated, 7 BIFA winning film KNEECAP, which co-stars Michael Fassbender and premiered at Sundance. He produced BAFTA nominated, 4 X BIFA winning GOD'S OWN COUNTRY which won awards at Berlin, Sundance, Edinburgh and Galway. He produced sci-fi horror AWAIT FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS which was Critics Pick in the New York Times and sold to Netflix.

 

His upcoming films include: LEARNING TO BREATHE UNDER WATER, starring Ezra Carlisle, Rory Kinnear and Oscar nominee Maria Bakalova and DAUGHTER OF EDEN, starring Yasmin Al-Khudhairi, Hiam Abbas, Amir El Masry and Lindsay Duncan.
